Cynthia was hesitant when her old friend Luke contacted her about participating in his study. Luke had always been a bit morally flexible, and she knew better than to trust him blindly – especially when he was asking for permission to have a microchip surgically implanted in her brain. She would have turned him down immediately if it wasn’t for the massive payoff he promised her for participating. Desperate for money and tired of being dependent on public transportation, she reluctantly agreed.

Unfortunately for Cynthia, Luke hadn’t told her exactly what the microchip was capable of. She knew that it was designed to regulate moods, but she didn’t realize that it could control them as well. With the touch of a single button on his remote control, Luke could make her feel whatever he wanted – afraid, elated, or even aroused.

It wasn’t until after the chip had been successfully implanted that Cynthia learned the truth of things, and by then it was far too late for her to back out. Luke held the controls to her mind in the palm of his hand, and he had no intention of giving that up. He knew the chip worked – but he wanted to have some fun with it.

I don't usually read mind control stories (opting for bondage & TG stuff) but I thought I'd take a chance with something new. Glad I did!

It was a good read. Not too terribly long and just enough detail to really make you really feel the humiliation Cynthia has to endure. I liked how it was 'absolute mind controls' and that it only effected her moods. Crazy the things a person will do in order to satisfy one's urges.

The time she spends with Luke's secretary is especially wonderful.

I hoped for story more based on effect on effect on such chips, with some demos,etc...
and first chapter was to my liking.
but after that...basically scene of Cynthia's both mental and sexual abuse just for the sake of it. Luke doesn't even pretend it's science experiment. ONLY thing chip is used here is to abuse Cynthia. Not for every other thing. Even Nextwave handled this much better
I have sampled many of the erotica books in several different areas. I thought, based on the write-up that this would be one of the clever and interesting stories in that area. Boy, was I disappointed. The attitude of the main character was a real turn-off, I did not find the various scenes particularly interesting. I am only giving it 2 stars because it was a unique concept. But I don't recommend it, for anyone using this review--save you time and money.
